It was announced today by @Puchkin_B on Twitter today that Rene Ruello will become the new President of Stade Rennais Football club, taking over from Frédéric de Saint-Sernin.
Ruello, had previously been at the club at board level from 1990-98, until the Pinaullt ownership of the club and was replaced by Pierre Blayau.
Ruello returned to the club once again, this time under the Pinault ownership from 2000-02.
Ruello is seen as stabalising the club in the 90s era but also making some strange decisions in his time at board level such as purchasing Severino Lucas and Mario Hector Tudas for a combined fee of €33 million (£26 million).
Ruello will also be putting some of his own money into Stade Rennais- meaning Pinault will not be the sole owner of the club for the first time in sixteen years.
