ROAZHON PARK

Roazhon Park (formerly Le Stade de Route de Lorient) is the home stadium of Stade Rennais.

The stadium was constructed in 1912 and is based in West-Central Rennes.

The stadium was re-constructed in 2001 to seat over 29,000 spectators. In 2004 the stadium was expanded to hold over 31,000 spectators. With the introduction of new jumbo screens the capacity went down to 29,376 in capacity.

In 2015, the stadium underwent several important changes. One of these alterations was to the seating inside the ground. The multi-coloured seats were replaced by all red seats.

Furthermore, the fans got the option to decide on a new stadium name. The online poll gave two choices: Roazhon Park or Stade des Hermines. In the end, Roazhon Park got the highest vote and the stadium was renamed.

Roazhon- the Breton name for Rennes and the English word for Parc makes up the new name.

The record attendence for the stadium is 29,490 for a Ligue 1 match against Marseille in 2005.

Address: 111 Route de Lorient, 35000, Rennes, France
