Montanier Signs Up

Stade Rennais manager, Philippe Montanier, has signed a new three year deal with the club taking his contract up to 2019.

Speaking to the club's official website, Rennes president, Rene Ruello commented on his manager's new contract, he said:

"We exchanged every day and the project of the club has started to take form.

"We agreed till the end of the season to talk about his contract extention.

"Today, I am happy to render it official.

"Even if it hasn't been a perfect season, I am satisfied with the work completed by Philippe Montaner and his staff."

The former goalkeeper turned manager took the reins at the club last season and guided them to the Coupe de la Ligue final against Guingamp.
